Hi guys!
Let me ask you a question. Is there anyone who has opened a stock trading account in US, for instance with fidelity.com or other US broker? Of course I mean a German citizen who lives in US or Germany. My question is. If so, how do you guys pay taxes in Germany? Must admit I am not a US nor German citizen but I live and work in Germany. I am polish citizen who's been living and working in U.S and that time I opened an account with FIDELITY. Currently I live and work in Germany. Since Poland is part of EU we have an agreement to avoid double taxation - that means I pay them here cause I live here. The question would be now, how do you guys pay your taxes in Germany having a broker an account in the US? I am certain that I don't have to pay them in US. If I would live there for 183 days in a year, than I must do that, but I'm not.
Cheers!
